Kandla Port Commissions West Gate-2 Under E-Drishti Project

RFID-Based Access Control System Implemented

Kandla, Gujarat, India – [Date]

The Western Gate-2 of the Deendayal Port Authority Kandla's E-Drishti Project Phase 1 has been commissioned, introducing RFID-based access control. This second gate marks the implementation of a comprehensive access control system at the port.

Deendayal Port Kandla, also known as Kandla Port, is a major seaport in the Kutch district of Gujarat, India. Located in the Kandla Creek, the port is strategically located for vessels entering India through the Arabian Sea.

The E-Drishti Project aims to enhance port security and efficiency through technology. The RFID-based access control system utilizes radio frequency identification tags to identify authorized personnel and vehicles entering the port area. This system significantly improves security by restricting access to designated areas and monitoring movement.
